How long can a 2000 Izuzu Rodeo last?

I'm thinking of picking up my first vehicle soon and I have a buddy who is selling his 2000 Izuzu Rodeo. He says it has a Mitsubishi engine in it. I was just wondering how many clicks this thing can last for if it has been taken care of, but has been driven a lot.
