Can Brown spin his way out of this fiasco?

Due to it's abysmal handling of the justice system almost 200 criminals have been freed from prison by mistake, including rapists and murderers. Labour has tried to manipulate crime figures to show that they're falling but the reality is they're on the increase and jails are bursting at the seams and so some are being given early release whilst others have mistakenly been released to almost immediately re-offend, raping and murdering. Why haven't they built more jails? Has their vanity been piqued by failing yet again on a sound byte - "Tough on crime, tough on the causes of crime!"???
