Do you believe the gov has the right to give away your tax dollars in charity?

oculame needs to study the Constitution. Article 1, Section 1 DOES NOT mention anything about REDISTRIBUTION of taxes for CHARITY. It does REQUIRE the Federal Government TO PROMOTE THE GENERAL WELFARE but again, where is "CHARITY" mentioned. It is NOT and rightly so. The Founding Fathers realized that the Federal Government SHOULD NOT be involved in CHARITY so they didn't include it. They left "Charity" where it belonged, IN THE HOME.
