How hard is snowboarding???

Ok, I've been skateboarding almost all of my life, and some peple say that I should try snowboarding. Is it really that hard to do if i already know the tricks, how to jump, manuel, stop all that greatness....but how the hell do you turn?! lol anyways all anwsers are needed. help me out here people! thanks very much
