How do you decorate a 7th grade language arts clroom?

My sister is beginning her first year of teaching in a couple of weeks and she will be teaching 7th grade language arts. She really doesnt have anything and she has no clue how to decorate. We need ideas for decorating and some suggestions on must haves in a 7th grade language arts clroom. Thanks!
