Disk Brakes for a 1960 Chevy Apache.?

I am thinking of puttng front disk brakes on my truck. I am thinking that I want to stay with six lug, like the rear tires, to make it easier to get matching wheels. I was looking at some complete kits and and maybe just some drop spindles and I can pull some parts off a "newer" chevy. My truck is raked 2" in front. Has any body ever done this and regreted it? What kind of complications will I run into later? Do i have to have a 15" wheels or bigger.
