CAD history question?

Hi, I am sorry to hear that. Well it has a lot to do with the quality of your diet. You will need to reduce the amount of sat fat you consume and no trans fat. Limit the animal products you consume that are high in fat, whole milk, full fat products. The total fat should be less than 30% of your calories. Also try to eat more good fat instead of the saturated, eat poly and mono-unsaturated. You can look them up but they include the vegetable oils, olive, canola, nuts, etc. Think of meat as a side dish it should not be the largest item on your plate. Eat more vegetables and fruits and fiber, the fiber will pull the cholesterol out of your blood stream and excreted. Drink plenty of water. Do not smoke and exercise on a regular basis. Just because it is hereditary doesn't mean it has to happen, you can prevent this. Good luck. Please visit this site for more accurate information. Also try mypyramid.gov
